Hello everyone!  Now that Thanksgiving is over and I’ve had a little time to recover, its time to start sharing my Christmas projects.  I love this time of year, and I get very excited when I can start working on my Christmas cards! I find a lot of my inspiration on Pinterest and love to challenge myself to recreate what I find there with Close to my Heart products and give it my personal touch.

Let’s begin with first my Christmas card that I created using the Silver & Gold Paper Collection found here.  I created the base of this card with an image from the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge using Daisy White cardstock. I cut the image at 10″ x 7″ and then scored it at 5″ across.

The doily was cut from the Cricut Artbooking Cartridge, using Cranberry cardstock.  I cut the frame for the background from the Cricut Artiste Cartridge, using Pebble cardstock. The poinsettia was also cut from the Cricut Flower Market Cartridge using Cranberry cardstock.

The main focal point for this card is a sentiment from the Hallajujah stamp set which is now retired. I embossed the sentiment using silver embossing powder.

I added silver snowflakes that were die-cut from the Snowflakes Thin Cut, using silver glitter cardstock.

I also die-cut a small tag from the Thin Cut – Basic Tags and then stamped it using The Thought that Counts stamp set.

I finished off the card with red glitter hearts cut from the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge, sequins, a red bell, white twine, and silver glitter foliage.

I was able to use almost all of the Close to my Heart cartridges which I found very challenging. It was fun to create this card with so many different items and layers. I have several more projects to share so stay tuned.

Thank you for stopping by!
