Here’s The Story – Heritage Layout
Hello everyone! Today I have a layout that I created to enter into a contest consisting of a heritage theme.
This is something I have been wanting to work on for a long time, so this contest gave me a kick started to capture my family history.
I started this layout with Fern cardstock and then layered it with Flaxen cardstock, cut slightly smaller. I distressed and inked the edges using Desert Sand Ink. The patterned paper for this layout is from the Hello Lovely Paper Collection found here.
I cut the folaige and flower images from the Cricut Flower Market Cartridge! The big doily image was cut from the Cricut Artiste Cartridge.
These stamped images are from the “A Thing Well Done” stamp set (retired).
I cut this tag from the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge using the Hello Lovely patterned paper.
These flower images were all die-cut from the Cricut Flower Cartridge.
I had a lot of fun experimenting with these flowers!
I added a little burlap and a sentiment, also from the Flower Market.
Wish me luck on the contest! I’ll keep you posted.
Thank you for stopping by!
