What is the Straight To The Top (STTT) program?
The Straight To The Top program is an incentive program designed to help new Consultants hit the ground running. Research shows that new Consultants are more likely to have long-term sales success when they enjoy immediate sales success. This program helps Consultants to achieve success early by offering rewards for reaching certain sales milestones.
All new Consultants who sign up on or after April 1, 2016 will be eligible to participate in this STTT program.
How does the STTT program work, and what can I earn?
STTT Level 1: Sell $250 in your first 30 days and you will receive (3) exclusive My Acrylic Business Builder stamp sets.
STTT Level 2: Sell and additional $400 in 60 days and receive this exclusive On The Go Bag and heart dangle.
STTT Level 3: Sell an additional $550 in the first 90 days (total sales $1,200), and you will receive this exclusive Close To My Heart Logo T-Shirt.

What’s the catch?
Other than getting a ton of wonderful products at a great deal and most likely getting addicted to them, there is not catch. You have the opportunity to build a business if you choose, but you don’t have to.
What if I don’t want to build a business and I just want to get the discount for myself on future orders?
That’s great! A majority of Consultants are Hobbyists or Personal Use Consultants and do not do parties or hold classes or workshops. You are welcome to simply enjoy the discount on your own orders.
What is the discount?
Active Consultants enjoy a discount of 22%-35% depending on their sales for the month in addition to earning up to $75 in FREE product credit each month. Senior Directors and above also earn an additional 5% – 15% of personal override commission ON TOP of the regular commission and free product credit! Your earning potential is unlimited!
What are the sales requirements?
The sales requirement for an active Consultant is only $300 retail (before your discount) per quarter. This includes sales and your own purchases. Close to my Heart quarters are standard calendar quarters. When you first start out you are given a little extra time on this. Although, if you are aiming for your “Straight to the Top” incentive you will want to earn that first $300 to get your FREE products!
What if I don’t place $300 in a quarter or place any orders at all?
Once you sign up, you have a full quarter to make your sales minimum. Then if you do not have $300 in orders, you simply drop and are no longer a Consultant.
Do I need to give the Kit back if I drop?
No. everything is yours to keep! No strings attached.
Are you required to maintain an inventory?
No. There are so many different products that Close to my Heart actually suggests that you do not maintain an inventory. You can place an order for 1 item or 1000 items, so there is really no need to keep an inventory.
Does the company offer Hostess gifts? If so, who pays for them?
Yes! Close to my Heart pays for the hostess rewards. And as a Consultant, you are welcome to be your own Hostess and earn more free goodies!
Does Close to my Heart offer any training or events?
YES! There are so many different training options available including an entire Online Training Academy where you can take free online creative, business, and personal development classes. There is an entire listening library of recorded conference calls, bulletin boards for artwork, business, templates, Studio J, Swaps, Mentoring, and more. They have pre-designed projects and workshops for us to use. There are annual events such as Leadershare and Convention. There is even an 800 number that you can call if you have questions. And a lot more! You will never be without help.
How much is it to have a website?
All Consultants, even Junior Consultants, now have FREE websites, so your friends and customers can place orders online, 24 hours a day!
Can Consultants send out newsletters?
Absolutely! Close to my Heart also provides all Consultants with free monthly newsletters, making it easier than ever to communicate with your customer.
